The News Grows More Challenging Everyday

Posted October 22, 2009

The news grows more challenging every day. Today Ex-Mayor Sewell visited Northern Secondary Collegiate and the police were at hand to attend the rally. Who really cares? Do kids know what the police do and do they even trust them? They generally meet up with the police when they have done something wrong not something right.
If we want to diminish teen sex, drugs, weapons charges and criminal activity in our schools and adolescent community then police officers should be in the schools teaching public duty and responsibility, on an ongoing basis. The Boards of Education and the Police should develop classroom programs that go to the heart of our socio-economic problems. This type of program should be mandatory and included in the teaching curriculum. It would build relationships and diminish stereotypes. We do not need more Cops but rather more common sense. Talk about social responsibility, perhaps the Police should be focusing on the folks who are really SCREWING us – the Politicians. Why hasn’t any politician been tazored,  hand-cuffed and criminally charged? We are setting a bad example for our youth when are leaders are thieves.
In a similar vein, forget about prostitution. Let free enterprise reign in a guarded environment. All this talk about policing and prostitution is making me hungry for some real justice. Really, what is wrong with sex? Everyone does it and many people do it in the strangest places. At the rate we are going the Gorillas at the Toronto Zoo are going to be arrested for indecent exposure and the Wild Kingdom producers will one day be charged for Pimping – imagine filming two monkeys making passionate love.  As an Italian I love sex, Afro-Canadian lore talks about “Going Black and never going back” and what about the real Casanovas, the Orthodox Jews. Got to give it to Reuben, he goes home, pulls on one of his pant strings, out pops out Uncle Willy and the next thing you know Ruth is pregnant for the eighth time! We need to focus on real criminal issues. Prostitution should be regulated, de-criminalized and made safe for everyone. It would also generate valuable tax revenue for the thieves, reduce violent crime and address women’s rights.
I think the Chinese, Russians and Italians are having a body rub night at one of the strip-joints and all the thieves are going to be in attendance. Municipal Licensing and Standards is offering up three door prizes –  no charge massage parlour licenses with a liquor license.
Come on every one let’s sing along with Reuben:
a: hailaa
u: hailaa..
u: hoy taari ra raa, raa ri raa ri ra raa

Thank you,
